Pastor David & Caroline Speas

“Pastor David” has been our pastor since 2012. He is energetic and loves being around people.

Rev. Speas grew up in a godly family, lived most of his life in eastern Kentucky, and heard the truth of the Gospel before he could even walk. He gave his heart to the Lord during his senior year of high school and began attending Kentucky Mountain Bible College the following fall. Following graduation, Pastor David served as an assistant minister in Morehead, KY. And upon marrying his wife, Caroline, assumed the head pastorate at Clinton First Wesleyan. Together, Pastor David and Caroline have two children - Fletcher and Clara.

Ryan White

Ryan White grew up in a Christian home in Eastern Kentucky. He was saved in his early teens. While he was in high school, God called him to go to Kentucky Mountain Bible College. He studied communications and Bible theology. At KMBC he met his wife Yurika Kobayashi. While at KMBC he felt God convicting him to have a passion to love people and preach the gospel.

After graduating from KMBC Ryan lived in his hometown in Ky and worked at a car dealership. He filled in for pastors on Sundays as well as playing gospel bluegrass in churches with his friends. Pastor David Speas contacted him once about possibly coming to Clinton to be involved in the church. For about a year Ryan prayed about coming and finally He and his wife both felt that it was God’s will for them to come; specifically to be involved with the church youth. He teaches the youth Sunday School and Wednesday night class and preaches at church from time to time. He also plays bass in church worship.

Ryan and his wife enjoy camping, hiking and being outdoors. They love coffee and exploring new places. Currently Ryan also works at Fox Toyota in Clinton as a sales consultant.
