Jesus said in Matthew 28, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (NKJV)

The church has one mission—make disciples. But knowing a mission and accomplishing it are two different things. Here is how we, at CFW, are accomplishing our mission:

We “Go” into the world. If you study Christ’s life, you’ll realize that He didn’t wait for lost people to come to Him. He went into the world. In fact, the biggest insult His enemies could come up with was that He was a friend of sinner. CFW endeavors to make disciples by going into the world and loving people as they are.
We “Grow” in size. Christ commanded His disciples to baptize their converts. Baptism symbolizes new life in Christ as requires numerical growth.
At CFW, we aren’t interested in staying the same size. We want our church to grow and are willing to change the way we do ministry to see that growth.
We teach others to “Know” Christ’s Word. The final command Christ gave was that His disciples teach others His Words. At CFW, we aren’t just interesting in your finding Christ as your Savior, but also endeavor to teach you the words and ways of Christ and His church.
Since remembering a mission can be difficult, we’ve simplified it into a motto. “Know God. Win Others.” That is Christianity. That is our mission.
