Why Should Your Kids Attend VBS?
The young adults were just discussing in Sunday school how many things we remembered about God’s Word that we learned as children. A Bible verse we memorized in Sunday school or VBS in the 3rd grade is planted in our minds and hearts, but sometimes we have a hard time as adults recalling what we read that morning! That is just one of the many reason VBS is so important for the children of our church and community. It gets our kids into God's Word and God’s Word into our kids. Summer is often busy for families — full of traveling, sports, lake and pool visits, clubs and more. We hope you will choose to make Vacation Bible School a priority for your family this summer. It’s at the beginning of June, so you can kick off your summer by getting your kids into God’s Word and God’s Word into your Kids. It is for children going into K4 — going into 5th grade,
What Will Your Kids Do There?
There will be meal provided each evening for children attending, as music, games, Bible stories, Bible memory games, and prizes, The last night (Saturday, June 8th) is pizza and bounce house night!
Registration sheets are available on here, and at church. You can fill them out and submit them early or you can bring them on the first night of VBS.
How Can You Help?
1) Pray! Ask God to do amazing thing this year!
2) Volunteer. Come talk to Mrs. Caroline Speas (Children’s Ministry Directer)
3) GIVE VBS is free to attend, and our church pays for all the supplies and food for the event, but if you feel led to donate to our VBS, please mark your offering as a gift for VBS, and it will go towards that. Also, be ready to have your children give to our missions offering throughout the week and in our final servie Sunday June9th!
